Our classes

We have a variety of classes to help you kick off your woodworking journey and create your own DIY projects to be given as a gift or to keep for yourself. Here below are a list of classes we currently offer to you at the workshop.

We can also arrange arrange suitable tuition to help you along with any of your own projects, just get in touch!

All classes include all materials required, including some finish options. Delivery of finished bigger items can be arranged for a small fee.

We advise booking 24 hrs in advance, to ensure availability of staff and materials, especially for bigger projects.

Balancing Wine Bottle Holder

Duration: 1 hour

Price: £20

Tools Used: Bandsaw, Mitre Saw, Sanders, Drill.

Description: These bottle holders keep upright seemingly by magic! Come in and we will show the trick and make a perfect conversation starter at you next dinner party!
You can make the holder in virtually any design of your own, or use one of ours for inspiration.

Turned Candle Holder

Duration: 2 hours

Price: £30

Tools Used: Woodturning Lathe and accessories.

Description: Perfect way to start woodturning. Make a bespoke candle holder, and we guarantee you will catch the woodturning fever and come back for more!

Work Bench

Duration: 6-10 hours (ideally split into two sessions, to allow the glue to dry overnight)

Price: £160

Tools Used: Mitre Saw, Drill, Sanders, Handsaws, chisels and many more.

Description: Make a custom workbench for your shed/garage or maybe even use it as an overly masculine office desk! This is a rather big project, but we will guide you through every step and you will learn a lot of woodworking techniques.
Price is for a workbench 600x1250mm with a vice and 18mm solid pine top. Other sizes and worktops can be made, please get in touch to discuss.

Birdhouse

Duration: 2 hours

Price: £25

Tools Used: Mitre Saw, Drill

Description: Make a perfect little birdhouse for your garden and watch wild birds nest and hatch!

Laptop Stand

Duration: 2 hours

Price: £25

Tools Used: Table saw, Mitre saw, Bandsaw.
